Breaking Co-Sleeping?

Any second time moms who co-sleep? DS is 14 months and he has been in our bed since day one. There were several months where I would let him fall asleep in our bed and then put him in his crib. Now, the minute I move him to his crib he wakes up and screams bloody murder. It is like his crib is on fire!!! We have tired the CIO method. But it doesn't seem to work, for either of us. 30 minutes is my max and then I just can't take it anymore. Also, I am sure he would go on forever if I would let him. He is very stubborn like his mother.

Any ideas on how to get DS out of our bed? We have got to nip this in the bud before DS#2 gets here.
