My poor back - sciatic nerve pinched

Hi there -

so anyone have to deal with a pinched sciatic nerve? Holy cow! I've had this for about 2 weeks but it's been manageable. But in the past 1-2 days it's gotten really bad. I'm fine sitting down but when I get up, and straighten up I get this brief shooting pain. Then when I'm walking I get it whenever I put weight on my right foot.

Anyway, for anyone who's had to deal with sciatica during pregnancy what do you do for it? Obviously we can't take muscle relaxers, so do I go to a chiropractor, or a massage therapist? I plan on asking my doc tomorrow at my monthly appointment, but thought I'd send the question out to you ladies too.
