Another newbie
Hi everyone,Another BFP to report this weekend. EDD 6-5-12.
We've had 2 m/cs, so we're not telling anyone until we get through the 1st tri.
Here's my plan, as of right now... My family lives in FL (we're in MA). We are planning on spending Christmas with them. I want to announce our news then, but haven't come up with the big plan yet.
The day after Christmas, we are going on a cruise with DH's family. They are paying for our cruise, so I thought it would be nice to take them out to dinner as a thank you & announce to them then... Somehow...
Here's the problems I haven't figured out yet:
a. What if I'm really showing by then? It's going to be hard to hide. I'm a thin girl to begin with.
B. I don't know if I/DH can keep a secret that long.
c. My family who lives on the gulf coast is driving us to meet up with DH's family in the Miami area on Christmas night. Will they spill the beans before we get to tell ILs? Or should we wait & tell everyone at the same time, somehow?
So much to think about. Feel free to put your 2 cents in.
