2x mom questions - when to leave the house?

One of the posts below got me curious, how soon did you start taking LO places after they were born?  I know sometimes I'll see very tiny, new babies out and think, "those parents are crazy!", but I'm sure they are just dying to get out of the house after a while.  I know in January it'll probably be different than if you had your baby in June, but we often have pretty mild temps here in Jan., so I could see it being pleasant to take baby out for a bit...
