Alternatives to baby shower
I am thinking of not having a shower. We live far from any of our family and a lot of my close friends also live out of town. Our families live pretty far apart as well so its not like I could travel to another area either. I feel like I will be missing out on some female bonding ritual. 
I guess I could do some type of virtual shower and get everyone one Skype or something, but then I would feel weird asking for gifts plus my MIL doesn't own a computer. Has anyone done a non-traditional baby shower or have any suggestions.
