Glucose Test Q?

For all of you ladies that have done your 1 hour glucose test - did you have to fast before?

I have mine booked and my MW didn't tell me to fast. She did tell me I should probably avoid eating too much sugar the day before, but other than that I was given no special instructions. I have seen a bunch of post about fasting and am wondering if I am missing something, or if every Dr. is different?
