registry question - where?

I have carefully and with much research put together a registry of what I would like on Amazon. But I feel somewhat compelled to also register at a store for a select number of things so that people could visit and find items.

Thoughts:

BRU - The place gives me the hives and it is expensive, but they are a store in the area with a lot of stock.

Target - This doesn't seem to solve the 'wanting to buy things in the store' problem. Everything seems only to be available online.

Walmart - doesn't seem to carry most of what I am looking for

I *think* those are the only stores around. No Buy Buy Baby in MA. Am I missing something obvious? Where would you recommend?
