For the past 4 years, we have been doing lunchtime parties for my DD. But this year, I was thinking of doing a brunch. In part, just to 'mix things up' but also because I thought breakfast food would be easier/more people could enjoy (we have a lot of picky eaters/vegetarians/etc). What do you think? This is a family party so it only has about 4 kids coming (ages 2+) and then the rest are adults (about 15-20people total).
10-12:30am - I figured the kids would be less tired, less grouchy, etc
Food like muffins, bagels, pastries, juice, hot tea, coffee, and I would do something like baked cream cheese french toast.
or - my usual 11-2:30
Usually I do tons of apps (cheeses, dips, fruits, veggies etc) and something like a pasta and salad, sodas/etc. Although this year maybe just do pizza and salad?
I'm just wondering if people want to "get the party out of the way" 10am on a Saturday (so then they can salvage the rest of the day) or if they would be dragging themselves out of bed. Thanks!
