Hello and a question

Hi ladies, I usually lurk, but just noticed people saying Harper is trendy now? Where did this come from? My DH and I have loved this name for a boy since before we got married (him from a movie, me because of Harper Lee). When we agreed on it, we liked it because it is classic but uncommon. Our first child was a girl, so we went with Kendall (which seems to be gaining in popularity, ughhh). We decided to name this one Harper, whether its a boy or a girl, but now I'm torn because it's becoming trendy!

Do you ladies think this is just popular within a certain region or something, because I hate trendy names! I'm a Jessica, born in 83! I've never been in any group setting without multiple Jessica's present.
