Cameras on Vacation

A little over 3 weeks til Disney World! I have always just had a pretty cheap (canon powershot) digital camera that I threw in my purse or diaper bag on vacation. I would keep it in a case in my purse and take it on rides and everything. I take a ton of pics so I like to have it with me at all times. Now that I bought my Nikon I don't know what to do.

If you were going on an "active" vacation (like in Parks all day) would you; bring both cameras and bring only the canon to the parks, bring only the canon and leave the new camera at home, bring only the nikon and just be suuuuper careful?
