HPT+... now what??

So, now that we are getting +HPTs, what are your next steps?  Have you called your doctor?  Are they setting up appointments for a few weeks from now or confirming it with a blood test?  Are you telling close friends/family right away? 

When I called my doctor today to tell them I got a +HPT and that I didn't think I was far along as my LMP would put me (I didn't O until CD25), they had me go to the lab to get a blood test drawn today so they could 'date' me.   I should get the results tomorrow, and then I guess based on that they'll set up an appointment.  I think we'll wait till at least next week to tell close family only, it's my parent's first grandchild and my sister's first niece/nephew, and I know they'd be upset if I didn't tell them soon.  I kind of want the weekend to absorb it with MH ourselves.  We also ordered some books from Amazon about pregnancy, and I stocked up on four months worth of prenatals (BOGO sale at CVS). 

That's about where I am at 24hours after getting my first faint, faint line!
