We finally decided on this name and love it! I can't figure out what nicknames make sense though.
I'm not a fan of Kari. I do like "Lena" as nickname for Elena (more of a Spanish pronounciation) but that's weird to nickname her middle name don't you think.
Then of course some nicknames just come about based on their personality so who knows what I'll wind up calling her!
I just read a post below about whether it's important or not to "preserve" the spelling of the entire name. I've also thought of "Nina" as a nickname. I love it and think it's cute for when she's younger but love that Karina is a good grown up name.
