questions/opinions about names BETSY and DINAH

We love Betsy but cannot use Elizabeth because my sister (we are very close and so are our children) has an Eliza. Can this be used as a stand alone name? Are there any other "big girl" names we could use with the nickname Betsy?

Our runner up is Dinah Caroline. My parents and siblings all burst into "I've been working on the railroad..." every time I mention it. I know they will stop this if we choose to name our little one this, but am wondering what other people think about it.
