I hired an attorney. So far all we have done is a temporary court order giving ex every other weekend and every Weds. He reluctently signed it. Fine. I am fine with that schedule for now.
Now my attorney tells me that we need to set up a hearing for child support. It is my understanding that when we set up that hearing his attorney at that time can contest the current visitation agreement and the mud slinging could begin?
I guess what I don't understand is why my attorney hasn't offered mediation yet or the other avenues that I have heard that the court expects parents to go through?
