Weigh in on gender disappointment please!

We found out Thursday we are having a girl (I'm super excited and posted the news previous to this post).

But my husband is disappointed. He actually shed a few tears when they told us it was a girl. This makes me sad, because I want both of us to be happy about the news. I was to discuss names and look at pink bedding etc, and he doesn't seem that interested. I know he would be if it was a boy.

What should I do? I tried to discuss it with him but he just says "you don't have to console me". Should I just give him time, or make him discuss it with me?

Has anyone else gone through this type of thing? I thought he's be excited either way...
