Glucose Test

I went for my prenatal appointment today and my OB scheduled me for my glucose test.  However, he said they have a NEW test.  Instead of doing the 1 hr and then the 3 hr if you fail, they just do a 2 hr.  You either pass it or fail it, there are no other tests.  So, now I get to sit at my OBs office for at least 2.5 hours on the 29th for the "NEW" 2 hr test.

Anyone else's OB do the 2 hr test instead of the 1 hr & 3 hr?
