NBR: Want to cry

I don't typically talk about this, but I'm hurting right now. DH lost his teaching job the day after Ian was born 3 years ago. He's done smaller teaching jobs and subbing since then, but nothing real and permanent. He had an interview with the superintendent of a district today, and just got a call that he wasn't going to get the job.

I know it's really hard for him, and I need to be strong and positive for him, but I am so frustrated right now, and I'm really sad for him and us. I was really hoping we'd be able to finally celebrate this weekend while we were away, but once again I'm back to worrying about whether we're ever going to get ahead instead of just getting by.

This economy and education sucks.
