birthdays and hormones do NOT mix (NBR)

well today is my birthday. My LAST birthday with it being just the two of us, and we had these plans to go on a mini-vaca and eat (my favorite!) greek food out by the port and just have a really special night. Unfortunatly, weve had a leaking roof and took yesterday to fix it.... then halfway through the projet- it rained. Our entire house flooded and it was a mess. we had to rip out the entire ceiling and insulation and my DH has been on the roof doing repairs ever since. Meaning no romantic birthday dinner/ night and it makes me wanna cry. and even if he somehow pulls everything together in time, by some miracle, hed be distracted all night and not enjoying it and that makes me not even WANNA go which... of course alsoo makes me wanna cry

stupid hormones. stupid florida rain.
