DH and I got into a discussion about this on the way home from his parents' last night. Nothing like a good, long drive to get a debate going.
He thinks we should have 2-3 kids spaced very close together, like his parents did (he's 13 months older than his brother and 2 years older than his sister). I'm thinking more like 3 years apart, minimum. Not that I didn't enjoy being close in age with my brother (we're 18 months apart) but my mom and MIL didn't work when their children were young and I likely will. Anyway, we'll play it by ear but it still creeps up after visiting the extended family and seeing all the siblings/cousins interacting. What are your plans/current situations?
