Since it is slow: Mat leave!

So yesterday I was talking with my manager, and the topic of mat leave came up. As of right now, the plan is (and this is especially if Dr is ok with it) to go on leave on the First of January. Yes I know baby could come early, but if that happens, then things will change.

I guess my manager was surprised that I was going to hang on for that long. I work in retail, and am having to be on my feet for anywhere from 4 hours to 8 hours a day. Right now they are doing their best at letting me rest and sit whenever I need it. And in the coming months, I will strictly be on cash, with a chair behind the till for me.

When do you ladies plan on taking your leave?
