Sciatica!!??

I have been having excrutiating pain for a while now in my lower back, hips and buttocks sometimes all the way down my legs.  The worst pain I have experienced, my Doc diagnosed it as Sciatica!! I have been doing some active release therapy with a Chiro which helps temporarily.  Has anyone else had this and what do you do to ease the pain?  I'm not keen on the idea of painkillers but am open for anything else at all!!

Oh and apparently I can look forward to this until delivery day, yay!! May be due to having a low lying baby who is pressing on my nerves along with stretching ligaments. Help, anyone??
