Elective U/S wrong?

My A/S in in just a few weeks and I am curious if anyone was told one sex at their elective, and then ended up being the opposite at the A/S. Ours I feel like was such an obvious boy but my mother feels like (even after seeing the pic) that I shouldn't run out and buy anything!
