Just what I needed...a pick-me-up!

A friend called today and told me a good acquaintance had emailed her recently to ask when my baby shower will be (we were originally thinking late November). Turns out another good friend, who lives away, may be coming home and they've been conspiring to have the shower when she's home so we can all be together (probably in October). She wanted to make sure I was OK with having the shower earlier than expected.

I've been feeling a little low every now and then. It feels like everyone is busy and friendships are changing...and all anyone wants to talk about with me is the pregnancy. So I was happy to hear these friends were thinking about me and want to be there for me. Such a pick-me-up. I hope we can all be at the shower!
