Swing vs Rock n Play?

I know every baby is different, but anyone have any opinions on which is more practical for a newborn, a swing or a bouncer/rock n play?

Originally I put the Rock n Play on our registry but now that we have a bassinet with a detachable moses basket, I'm not sure we'll need two portable sleepers, and I'm starting to think a swing would be better.

Suggestions welcome. TIA!
