tell me about big kid beds and Pt'ing

Borderline panic attack brewing here.....dh and I were discussing the bed.

I am afraid of switching and having to switch back. Did this happen to anyone? I also don't know what to switch to. His crib converts, but it isn't a climbing out issue as it is a space issue. He is getting too big for the crib and sleeping bad the last week or so. I feel like turning the crib into a toddler bed is pointless since it will be the same amount of room.

He has a full size pillow and it take up a lot of room, but he won't let me take it out now that he has it. He uses it 80% of the night.

Did your LO still turn in a big bed, sleeping upside down or sideways? This is where the other 20% comes in! haha 

Did you daytime PT while still in the crib, or did you switch to the bed before pt'ing.

Ugh....I am so confused! I hate to confuse him too......covert crib, mattress on floor....make crib into full size bed. I also don't know how long you give it if it doesn't work and put the crib back up!
