Talk me down....please?

So I just had a prenatal dr appt. I was hoping to hear the heartbeat today but at first the dr said "No way, it is way too early." Then she looked at my chart again and said, "Well, I guess we could try, I was thinking you were about a week earlier than you really are. But you have to be ok that we might not be able to find it yet." So now you know the end - she couldn't find it (and did not find this to be concerning at all). She said normally she would tell me to come back in 4 weeks, but would I like to come back in 2 to hear the hb? Now I am freaking out. 2 whole weeks like this!

Anyone have a happy ending to this story?
