Landlord vent

Since we moved in less than a month ago we have been having issues with our dishwasher. Our landlord, who is not available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays due to our proximity to the NC Mtns and fishing, decided that he had time to come out today. I no longer work so that was fine, but when I asked him what time he would be here because I have my niece in town to visit and we might be going out to explore my new city, he said, "Oh, I don't know when I'll be by. Sometime before 5. If you're not here, I'll let myself in." I don't know about you, but I have issues letting essentially a stranger (regardless if he's the landlord or not) come into my house whenever he pleases, especially if I'm not here. So I'm probably going to be stuck here all day waiting on him. Ugh.
