Problems with piercings?

Anyone having problems with their piercings? I have 9 piercings in my ears that I ALWAYS wore earrings in for about 5 years straight, and a couple days before I found out I was pregnant, I took them out because my ears were itching. Except for my cartilage. I just recently put earrings back in the other 8 holes and within a few hours they started to hurt and itch, so out they came. Now my cartilage ring it hurting to the point that I think I'm going to have to take it out too. Anyone else having this problem or have I developed a new allergy to my jewelry? TIA!
