Help w/ Crib

Ok so this might get long......  We went to Buy buy baby and BR and target today and we are really struggling over the crib situation.  I wont something that's nice and cute and DH is more concerned about money.  He keeps saying LO will have no clue, and hes right.  I just grew up very poor and we didn't have much money until I was in high school and I want to give my baby everything.  I just saw the deal that someone posted earlier for the $99 crib and I really LOVE the crib but I am not sure about using a white crib with a boy.  I probably wouldn't use it as the convertible for a boy but save it for future babies but, this crib would really solve a lot of our issues I like it and think its pretty but I am unsure of the white.  This is the bedding I think I want http://0.tqn.com/d/create/1/0/Q/5/2/-/IMG-9983.JPG  Do you think this could all work?
