Refreezing purees?

I have a bunch of frozen purees that DD does not like since she only likes to self feed. I was thinking of using some in a meatball recipe. Can I refreeze the meatballs after or would I need to use them within the 3 days?

Maybe I will just take some out and use as a sauce as needed for the meatballs so I can still freeze those. Thanks!
