I just called my doctor because I have this horrendous cough that literally keeps me up all night. The doctor told me about sudafed which I knew about. But she also told me about mucinex...which I had absolutely no idea about!! That is awesome, I have a bunch of those. I will go and take some right now. lol. 

What have your doctors told you is safe for cough and colds?

I read from my previous doctor that robittusin dm is safe...
