How to know when baby moves/kicks???

Hello! So, I know some people don't feel the baby move until 20 + weeks, but I was just curious how did you know when the baby moved? Sometimes I feel like a little bubble popped in my stomach but I always attribute that to gas. Do you feel the baby move more when you are relaxed and laying down or when you are on the go??
