Would you trip a kid?

Ok, so maybe trip is a strong word. But I've been at the store and I've witnessed a parent with arms full or a full shopping cart chasing after a toddler who suddenly got the itch to run. I wouldn't literally stick my food out and trip a kid, but I would cut them off at the pass with my arms open (I don't touch stranger's kids--unless maybe they were running into the street, then I'd grab them in a heartbeat). How about you? Would you block a path if you saw a kid on the run?
