anyone turn the carseat to ff earlier than 1 year?

I had to loosen the straps on DD carseat so I figured I might as well turn her around since it says the forward facing is 20-40 lbs and she is 23lbs right now. She's almost 10 months and she's so thrilled that she can see everything now. Did anyone else flip theirs around a little sooner than 1?
