If your LO is walking, did you experience sleep issues just before?

My DS is a few days away from 11 months and has been STTN since he was 5 months old, no problems. The last week he has been having MAJOR sleep issues! He's getting up at all hours... I can only listen to him scream for 1hr before I just have to go in and pick him up. I try rocking him back to sleep, but the second he's back in his crib he wakes up and starts screaming all over again, so I just end up holding him until he's up for the morning. I am EXHAUSTED and don't know what to do. He's been cruising since he's been 8.5 months and we can tell he's getting so close to walking. I'm hoping the developmental milestone is what's causing this. He's been to the pedi and all is well. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA!!
