Another car seat ?

The AAP is now recommending that children be rear facing until age 2.  My question is how the smurf is that supposed to be comfortable (BTW - we are using smurf in order to try to stop cursing)??

We installed DD's Britax Boulevard 70 and had to recline the rear seat a big so that she wasn't all scrunched up.  She's comfy now but her feet are still close enough to the back of the seat that I seriously doubt she will be comfy there for another 15 months.
