Myrtle Beach with baby?

Hi ladies!

My husband and I are going to Myrtle Beach and taking our 11 month old with us. Can anyone recommend places in MB to take young infants? Are water parks safe? (I can imagine the water in those places is pretty gross...even though it is chlorinated) Can you bring a baby on the ferris wheel? Are there any beaches that are particularly nice for babies?

Any info/suggestions you have would be very helpful!
