Blood Draws

DS has to have bloodwork done- for the 1 year lead test and for his food allergies.  DH took him this morning to Quest and they stuck him 2x's but were unsuccessful in getting any blood.  The lady also told DH that they cannot do both tests in the same day because they can't take that much blood from him at once.  Our pediatrician suggested we do both together so he only has to be stuck once.  Has anyone had luck taking their LO somewhere for bloodwork?
