DH is smart after all!

We went to a cookout today, and one of DH's friends and his new wife were there.  She was admiring DS's cloth diapers and asking me all kinds of questions.  She agreed it was a big expense at first but how it really pays off in the end.  I told her our main reason for doing it was that DH was allergic to every brand of disposable diaper on the market.  Then she showed her new husband the cloth diapers and how neat they were.  He goes, "Yeah...you have fun washing thoughs."  He made a few other smart remarks, but that's what he normally does.  I just don't listen.

Tonight when we got home, my DH looks at me, "Did you see A going nuts over DS's cloth diapers?  And did you hear all of B's smart remarks?  He doesn't realize it yet, but what mama wants...Mama gets."

I wanted to pat him on the head and give him a cookie.  LOL
