Red Belly Button?

Tonight at bath time I noticed what looked like blood in his belly button. I gently wiped it with a q-tip and nothing came off, so I'm guess it's just red and not bleeding.

Does anyone know what could cause this? I don't think it's emergency line worthy, but I'm still worried.
