Depression in family member

We have a family member who is going through depression but refuses to talk with us about it or seek help.  We are trying to be supportive but it is starting to wear on DH and I.  We are trying to find a balance between being there and enabling.  But it is hard. And there are underlying boundary issues pre-depression. 

How do you help someone who doesn't want help?
