help w/bday party

Hey ladies, I need some advice on DS bday party.

- favors, do you put out when setting up or wait to bring out until the end? They are dump trucks with oreos in the back with a thank you tag, NO BAG. I dont want the kids to play with them during the party, eat the cookies etc- whats the best way to go about this?

-smash cake, do you put a candle in it to sing happy birthday?

-Whats the best order of events? Play, eat, cake, presents? Or Eat, play, cake, presents?

- Do you open presents while everyone is there?
