tongue constantly sticking out

My 81/2 mos old has just started doing this and it's freaking me out because i read somewhere?? that it is a trait of downs.

She is really smart and is doing things way beyond her age so i don't feel that she has it but is anyone elses babies doing this? Is it teething possibly???
