has anyone had to re-ferberize at one year?

i haven't posted on here in a long while, but yet again we're having sleep issues.  LO was putting himself to sleep quickly and quietly, but we went on vacation and it has RUINED everything.  now, he's standing immediately when we leave the room and SCREAMING.  i have tried reassuring him, laying him back down, etc.  In fact, I tried it over and over and over again for FOUR HOURS last night.  no luck.  i don't know what to do.
