How do you keep LO out of dog's water?

DD has never crawled and for months walked holding one of our fingers, so she was easy to redirect. In the last week, she has started really walking on her own, and today she has stepped in the dog's water bowl twice already.

I am not sure what the best way is to keep it away from her but accessible to the dog, a 15 pound border terrier. What do you fellow dog owners do?
