flat spot ??

Hey Im a lurker but I was wondering if any of ur LOs have had a flat spot & how long did it take for the flat spot to work its self out?  DS has had a flat spot since he was 2 months & he still has it & he is almost 6 months but I think its getting better.  Our pedi said if it wasn't better he would need a helmet.  I am starting to get nervous.  I think its better & I took pics of them to show the dr. but the pics aren't real good.  He goes back to the dr. July 11th sooo I'm praying the dr. gives us good news
