LO with Pink Eye

Took DS to the doctor on Tuesday he has pink eye...we got drops and have been doing them faithfully.  I have also been changing and washing his sheets after he sleeps on them.  Doc said to continue drops 48 hours after his eyes clear up.  His eyes are clear, and I plan on continuing the drops.  Do I need to continue to wash his sheets after every nap and bed time?
