Birthing Options / Water Birth

Hi all! 

 

I'm in the greater Charlotte area (Rowan county to be specific) and I'm looking for a facility that offers birthing options, specifically, a water birth option. I see on a lot of the hospital websites that they have 'private jacuzzi's' in the rooms, but is this for birthing or just my comfort? I can't see to get through to an actual person on any of the phone lines.

 

I really appreciate any help you can provide. I would love to know I have options when the time comes. I'm open to birthing centers, but the only one I can seem to find is in Rock Hill, just a bit too far for me to rely on.
