You're going to introduce your baby to your pets?

We have two kitty cats and I've been thinking about how we'll introduce her to them. I was told to take a blanket (that we didn't care about) to the hospital and snuggle her up in the blanket and then have DH bring it home about 24 hrs before we're to come home so the cats can smell it and get used to the smell of the baby.

Sounds great in theory, but just wondering what others had planned on doing. I'd like a few more options.
