baby and doggie door ?

My LO just started crawling 2 weeks ago. He has recently found our doggie door. He will crawl to the opening and stick his arm out the door. He watches the dogs go in and out.

My question is: does anyone out there have a doggie door that your LO has tried to go outside through? I think that any day now JD will escape to the back yard following the dogs.
